Want to have more fun on your bicycle, ride farther, perhaps commute and save money too?

Confident Cycling offers information and skills for experienced as well as casual bicyclists. If you would like to feel safer and more comfortable riding in motor vehicle traffic, you will find this course especially helpful. This hands-on course will cover:

• basic bicycle selection and fitting

• fixing flat tires

• inspecting a bicycle for safety

• understanding traffic laws and causes of crashes

• bicycle handling skills for everyday situations and emergencies

• riding safely on various types of streets and intersections

• avoiding common hazards and crash-causing mistakes.

Anyone successfully completing the course will receive a League of American Bicyclists "Traffic Skills 101" completion certificate.

We reserve the right to cancel a class with fewer than 6 participants.

Please plan to attend all four class sessions:

Wednesdays June 3, 10, 17, 24    6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

The classes will be held at University of Louisville Shelby Campus, 9001 Shelbyville Rd, Founder's Union, Room 136, Louisville, KY. For a map, see: http://tinyurl.com/d44c6j
